"I'll show you something!" Pupils communicate video art (Vol. 2)
The imai school communication project enters the second phase (17 March - 27 May, 2009) this time in co-operation with the Joseph-Beuys-Gesamtschule, Duesseldorf
In the second part of the school project 12 pupils from the art course (12 class) of the Duesseldorf Joseph-Beuys comprehensive school were invited to participate in a total of nine workshops and to discover art historical treasures and current highlights from the archives and distribution program of imai.
Under the guidance of art historian Annette Ziegert the 12 pupils will view a number of representative examples of video art and become immersed in the imai video art collection. They will then draw up a selection of their favourite video art works and analyse these according to content and artistic strategy. Finally on their own they will present their favourites at a closing screening to their fellow pupils, teachers and parents.

The closing presentation will be on Wednesday, 27 May, 2009 at 2.15 pm on the premises of the Joseph-Beuys comprehensive school in Duesseldorf. The imai team and the project group are looking forward to your visit.
