Joseph Beuys - Transformer is a portrait with and about the artist Joseph Beuys. The starting point is the exhibition of the artist which took place in 1979 at the New York Guggenheim museum. The artist himself describes this exhibition as his autobiography which he developed looking back over his life's work.
