imai is now an established Rhineland art institution
imai – inter media art institute founded as recently as 2006, has entered the ranks of the Rhineland art institutions. In the Rheinland lounge at the Art Cologne imai will inform about its representative collection of international video and media art works and its distribution program which is unique in Germany. In connection with this year's exhibition "Katharina Sieverding. Projected Data Images" at the Düsseldorf Quadriennale 2010, on 21 April there will be a talk with the artist Katharina Sieverding in the Rhineland lounge.

imai co-operates with more than 100 international artists to make their work available for sale and hire. The imai online catalogue offers free viewing of more than 1,200 video art works. The renowned artist Marcel Odenbach and the duo Hörner/Antlfinger are invited to represent the imai distribution program, talk about their works and distribution, production and exhibition conditions.
