The "imai on screen" series will in future be a part of the programme of events of the Duesseldorf BLACK BOX art-house cinema. In combination with artist discussions, documentation and talks the venue will be used regularly to screen video art from the imai collection and distribution program. The start of this long-term co operation between the Duesseldorf Filmwerkstatt and imai – inter media art institute presents a retrospective of the American underground filmmaker Kenneth Anger, curated by the Filmwerkstatt in Duesseldorf.
