26.05.2010: Announcement – imai will become a Centre of Excellence for the German state of North-Rhine Westphalia

In the next two years North-Rhine Westphalia plans to increase its funding for the preservation of media art. This was announced by the Secretary of State for Culture, Hans-Heinrich Grosse-Brockhoff, on 26 May, 2010. In 2010 and 2011 imai will expand its activities and assume the role of Centre of Excellence for the conservation and restoration of media art in North-Rhine Westphalia.
