The third part of the successful video art school project began on 1 September, 2009 with 17 pupils from class 12 with video works from the collection and distribution program of the imai foundation. At the close imai organised a video evening with a public screening of the video art program put together by the pupils in the Cologne Filmhaus.

In the second part of the school project 12 pupils from the art course (12 class) of the Duesseldorf Joseph-Beuys comprehensive school were invited to participate in a total of nine workshops and to discover art historical treasures and current highlights from the archives and distribution program of imai.

The imai - inter media art institute invites school pupils to appraise audio visual art works from its collection and to communicate these to like-minded persons.  The production and viewing of videos are an integral part of the youth culture of today. Access to art and culture in the form of video is mostly intuitive and develops from viewing habits and technical conditions of having available video camera and recording devices. The project "I'll show you something!" Pupils communicate video art is designed by imai to motivate pupils to appraise audiovisual works in a critical and constructive way.
